As like the other Chinese OEMs, Xiaomi is also in lieu of launching new mid-range smartphones in China. The new Redmi Note 9 variants are launching soon as they are appearing in multiple certification listings and rumors. A new leak from Digitial Chat Station has revealed most of the spec details of Redmi Note 9 5G and Note 9 5G edition. Both the devices recently surfaced on TENAA and 3C certification in China while confirming some specifications.

Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition

According to the Chinese tipster, the Redmi Note 9 5G standard edition will come with a 6.53-inch punch-hole display on the top-left corner of the device. The display features 1080 x 2400 pixels full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It will house a DImensity 800U chipset with 5G + 5G standby. A triple-camera sensor featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera will be present on the rear side. Meanwhile, a 13-megapixel front camera is present for selfies and video calling.

Moreover, a 5000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging is intact on board.

These specifications are quite similar to ones spotted on the TENAA certification. Redmi Note 9 5G was seen featuring the same size display along with a 4900 mAh rated battery.

Redmi Note 9 High Edition

Digital Chat Station – a Chinese leakster also confirmed the specifications of the Note 9 High Edition. According to the leaked information, the smartphone features a 6.67-inch punch-hole display with 1080p Full HD+ resolution. The display also offers smooth gaming performance with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz sampling rate. Moreover, the users would be able to adjust the display refresh rate between 30-120Hz.

There will be a quad-rear camera sensor with 108-megapixel primary sensor. A 16-megapixel sensor will be present inside the punch hole for selfies. It will run on a Snapdragon 750G chipset. The smartphone will come with a 4830 mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging.

It looks like a rebranded version of the recently launched Xiaomi Mi 10T lite.
