Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will be officially launched on November 26. It has been on headlines since last few weeks due to rumours that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will feature Snapdragon 750G. 120Hz refresh rate, 108MP primary camera. Now all these were assumptions based on the fact that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will be a rebranded Mi 10T Lite. Recent leaks, however, confirm that the upcoming smartphone will have a superior set of cameras i.e. 108MP cameras as opposed to 64MP found in Mi 10T Lite. Earlier, Lu Weibeing, Redmi General Manager has confirmed that the smartphone will be powered the Snapdragon 750G.

According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will have quad-rear camera system which includes a 108MP primary shooter, a superwide lens, a telephoto snapper, and a macro lens. He also added that other camera sensors are not that interesting to boast about. Expect them to include a couple of 2MP sensors.

Confirmed specification for the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G

A poster was spotted on Weibo which game away most of the important specifications for the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G smartphone. According to the poster, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 750G SoC as mentioned above. It is expected to run on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. For optics, it will house a massive 108MP Samsung HM2 camera sensor. It also includes an ultra-wide sensor, and two other cameras as well.

Moving towards the front it will house a display which will offer 120Hz refresh rate. The device will draw its power from a 4820mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging. Additional features include dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio support, a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Z-axis linear motor, and an IR blaster.

At last, the event is likely to commence at 8 PM IST on November 26. Hopefully, Redmi can break barriers with this smartphone as well as be the top-selling Android smartphone by next year. However, the global launch isn’t known as of yet. It will only be available in China after the launched event.
