Samsung Galaxy A02 popped on the WiFi alliance a few weeks ago. It carries the model number SM-A025F and will act as a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A01. Earlier today, Samsung Galaxy A02 (SM-A025F) along with an unknown Galaxy A125F surfaced on Indonesian TKDN certification.

Prior to this, the SM-A025F made its way to Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG as well. According to Geekbench, it has 2GB of RAM and runs Android 10. Although the chipset wasn’t mentioned, it referenced an Octa-Core Qualcomm chipset. Judging by the scores, it’s safe to say it might be the Snapdragon 439 SoC. However, we don’t have any information regarding the Galaxy A125F.

Apart from that, we can expect some improvements from the Samsung Galaxy A02 such as RAM and internal storage. The predecessor came with 16GB/32GB storage options, we can hope that the successor comes with at least 32GB of internal storage for its base variant and 64GB variant for its high variant. The Galaxy A02 may be released in two different RAM variants 2GB and 3GB RAM. Judging by recent offerings, it is also expected to feature a massive battery power which might be around 5000mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy A01 was launched back in January 2020. It was powered by the Snapdragon 439 SoC running on Android 10 out of the box. It was paired with up to 2GB RAM and up to 32GB internal storage. At the front, it featured a 5.7″ TFT display. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and 295 PPI pixel density. For Optics, it houses a dual-camera setup at the back which includes a 13 MP primary camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. Whereas at the front, it has a 5MP selfie shooter. It draws its power from a 3000 mAh battery.

Samsung has officially announced its newest budget-oriented smartphones – Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s. The Galaxy A12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. Whereas, the Galaxy A02s is powered by an aged Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC.

Moving towards the front, the Galaxy A12 and the Galaxy A02s flaunts a similar 6.5″ TFT HD+ infinity-V display.

For optics, the Galaxy A12 quad-camera setup which includes a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, it houses an 8MP camera for selfies. Whereas the Galaxy A02s houses a triple camera setup which includes a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, it houses a 5MP camera for selfies.

The Galaxy A12 will be available from January 2021. As for its pricing, it will cost €179 for the 64GB variant and  €199  for its 128GB variant. Whereas, the Galaxy A02s is priced at €150 for its sole 3GB+32GB variant. Its sale will commence from February 2021 onwards.
