Samsung Galaxy A71 5G is in works since the past few months. It has appeared on the
web multiple times as the Galaxy A71’s 5G variant for China and the US market. The smartphone today has appeared on the WiFi Certification with the model number SM-A716U. It is expected that there will be another SM-A716U1 version specially baked for carriers in the US.

According to the WiFi certification, the smartphone runs on the latest Android 10 and bears a firmware version of A716.001. It will run on a 5G chipset along with the compatible network chip supporting dual-band WiFi 2.4 and WiFi 5. As per the WiFi Aware profile, the smartphone will feature Bluetooth 5.1 support.
Another Galaxy A71 variant with SM-A7160 recently appeared on Geekbench benchmarks, 3C certification, and TENAA with the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
We expect some more details in the coming few days as the launch is not far away. Due to the unavailability of the Galaxy A71 (SM-A716U) leaks and rumors, we are unable to speculate additional features about the smartphone.
It is now confirmed that Samsung Galaxy A71 5G will go official soon. The mid-range 5G smartphone from Samsung would compete with the ones from Redmi, Realme, Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo. There’s a better chance that it would first debut in the US market.
Additionally, Samsung is preparing Exynos 992 which is ready for mass-production in August. It will be based on a 5-nm chipset and will feature Cortex A78 and Mali G78 GPU.
