Galaxy J7 Explodes: According to a recent report, Galaxy J7 blasted on flying Jet Airways flight (Delhi to Indore). There were 120 passengers on the flight and fortunately, they got saved thanks to the team who immersed the phone in water. The current incident has forced Samsung to bother as Galaxy Note 7 blast was reported in past years. Samsung said that they are trying to solve this matter.
Arpita Dhal was the owner of the device which caught fire. Hindustan Times reported that she is a Delhi resident and said that the device was in her handbag below the seat. She saw smoke blowing from the handbag with three other devices, 15 minutes inside the flight, and informed the team for assistance. Atul who is Arpita’s husband claimed that the Jet Airways team managed to put out the fire using extinguishers on the flight which did not accomplish. Atul stated that it was a mid-air fear and they were praying to god.
After some time, the team placed all the devices in a tray full of water just to handle the situation. In a report, Arpita said that she thought to oppose upon Jet Airways for travelers security. The incident could have been worse if the fire increased as their fire extinguishers did not operate on time. A Jet Airways member said that the conflict was concluded: “as per guidelines”. He further added that they noticed smoke exhaling from a passenger’s handbag on Jet Airways’ flight 9W 791 Delhi-Indore. Jet Airways team quickly tried to handle the condition. They practiced all the possible actions as an alert step, and according to the directed guidelines.
BGR reported that Samsung member said, “They are in contact with appropriate officials for some statement. Users security is the first preference of Samsung.” Currently, they are not acquainted with the exact reason of fire. They are investigating if Galaxy J7 has the same issue like Galaxy Note 7. As we all know, Galaxy Note 7 was unconsciously blasted which was a big fall out for the company. The reason for the fire on Arpita’s device could be damaged battery probably from a third-party reference, but it is not confirmed for now. We have to wait for Samsung’s final verdict till then.
