Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ were among the five products launched by Samsung at its Unpacked event today. The tablet market is getting slimmer day by day. However, the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ change the perspective altogether in the premium tablet segment.
Samsung has also designed a new keyboard cover that comes with a built-in track-pad to deliver an enhanced productivity experience. It also features a new function key row at the top and a wider track-pad. The track-pad also supports multi-finger gestures like pinch to zoom and triple-finger app switching.
Additionally, they also partnered with Microsoft to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint into the Tab S7 and S7+ for better productivity. It also includes the DeX mode, which now can operate wirelessly. DeX Mode also offers a PC like an experience.

The Tab S7+ is powered by the Snapdragon 865+ SoC running on android 10. The chipset is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage, which you can expand using the microSD slot. A lower variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB is also available.
The tablet also houses a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 13MP main primary sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, accompanied by a LED flash. At the front, there’s an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling.
It gets a large 11-inch display IPS LCD display with 500 nits brightness, 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. Its biggest draw is that it has 120Hz refresh rate support, quite unbelievable in the tab segment.
The battery is housed by a 7,040 mAh with quick charging support. For connectivity, it has an optional 4G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It is equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Galaxy Tab S7 is one of the lightest tablets in its segment weighing at only 498g. It is bundled with an improved S pen similar to the Galaxy Note 20 with Air Gesture support.

Compared to S7 the S7+ get a better 12.4 inch Super AMOLED display with 420 nits brightness and a similar with 120Hz refresh rate. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor thanks to AMOLED.
The S7+ houses similar cameras with a dual-camera setup at the rear with 13MP+5MP combination, accompanied by a LED flash. Likewise, at the front, there’s the 8MP camera.
The battery gets beefier with a 10,090mAh quick charging support. Due to its bigger display, the weight gets a slight bump with 575g. For connectivity, it has a 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port and LTE (optional). The sensors remain similar to Tab S7.
It gets the similar S pen support with Air gesture support.
Additionally, both the devices are equipped with quad speakers tuned by AKG tweaked by the Dolby Atmos.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series comes in Wi-Fi only, Wi-Fi + 4G and Wi-Fi + 5G connectivity variants. They are available in three different colour variants including Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze, and Mystic Silver. It is worth noting that the keyboard needs to be purchased separately. The sale will commence from 21st August in European markets.
The Galaxy Tab S7 Wi-Fi comes at EUR 699 (approx. Rs. 62,200) for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and EUR 779 (approx. Rs. 69,300) for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. While The Galaxy Tab S7 LTE comes at EUR 799 (approx. Rs. 71,100) for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and EUR 879 (approx. Rs. 78,200) for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S7+ Wi-Fi comes at EUR 899 (approx. Rs. 80,000) for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and EUR 979(approx. Rs. 87,100) for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. While The Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G comes at EUR 1,099 (approx. Rs. 97,800) and EUR 1,179 (approx. Rs. 1,04,942).
