Editor’s Pick: Best WiFi Analyzer Apps for Android
Although not prominent as it used to be, still there exist a niche audience wanting Sony to rise from the ashes. To all the fans expecting a phone from the Japanese giant, Sony seems to have a successor to the Xperia 5 in work which is expected to launch in the second half of 2020. Purportedly the device has a moniker Sony Xperia 5 II, that’s it!
As per certain reliable reports, Sony Xperia 5 II will come with a modern, compact design and a powerful processor at its heart. Headphone jack enthusiasts should like the fact the device should feature a 3.55mm jack buddy just like Xperia 1 Ⅱ / Xperia 10 Ⅱ. Elevating the hype around the device, a cool rendering of the product has been made by the Dutch designer, Jermaine Smit (ConceptCreator) for LetsGoDigital as you can see in the image above.
Punch-Hole Display In!
As you know, most of the Android devices of 2020 are likely to feature punch-hole display and the Xperia 5 II seems to be no different. Sony for the first time might go for the punch-hole tech starting with the Xperia 5 II. The render highlights the existence of punch-hole, while the device as whole gives a reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 10 Series with the same boxy design. Whether the display is curved or just 2.5D, this is something which we can’t infer from the image. Nonetheless, we expect Sony to go for the best by adopting a curved panel as well.
Only the time will tell, what exactly the Xperia 5 II has up its sleeve to catch the attention of audiences who are spoiled with the behemoths such as Galaxy S20 Series and Huawei P40 Series. Ironically, these behemoths make use of Sony sensors mostly in the realm and are reaping benefits while Sony is struggling to make a cut. We really wish Sony to bring something wow, and back in the game! What about you guys?
