According to New York Times, “Big tech firms are challenging on AI, investing on subjects extending from face-recognition smartphones and communicating coffee-table devices to digital fitness devices and self-ruling vehicles”.
The report claims that anyone can become AI experts after engineering and masters-level degrees, and gain some experience. They can get a salary between $300,000 to $500,000 annually or even more salary from Silicon Valley. The tech firms like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and Apple can offer millions to AI expert. So, if you have knowledge in AI and machine learning field, then you can be in high search. Nowadays, AI and machine learning are very popular worldwide.
The well-known tech giants utilize AI to generate animated emojis. Apple has also used AI technology in latest iPhone X for converting face gestures into emojis. The firms are also attempting to solve most difficult obstacles such as building an automatic car to bypass busy road without drivers. In the IO event in May, Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai declared that Google is not limited to search engine and smartphones as now they are AI company. At the launch of Google Pixel 2, he said that they are trying to make this world more advance with AI-first. Presently, institutes like IIT are developing by including AI as a subject for their learners. IIT- Hyderabad declared that will provide a special course in machine learning and AI for their engineering students. On August, IIT Madras declared that they will start a new center for AI and data science. They claimed that they will initiate the Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in cooperation with Bosch India. So, the peoples have a wide scope in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning field.
