Today, VIVO announced a new smartphone. Although we have to say the company did it so quietly that many users even were not aware of this product. The VIVO S1 Prime has made its debut in Myanmar. We don’t know the local language but the key features can be seen from the brand’s official website.
The VIVO S1 Prime is available in Myanmar in a single memory configuration, that is, 8GB RAM + 128GB. This variant is available at 38,9800 Myanmar Kyat ($284). But there is no official statement when the phone will go on sale.
Though there is the marketing phrase ‘Prime’ in the name of the phone, in fact, the VIVO S1 Prime is a mid-range handset. It sports a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It adopts a water drop screen design. And in the punch-hole, we can find the selfie camera. On the opposite side, the phone carries a quad-camera module with a 48MP primary camera. It is accompanied by an ultra-wide sensor with a 120-degree FoV. There are also two other sensors, but the company didn’t disclose their resolution too.
Under the hood, our protagonist carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. The phone runs on the Android 9 operating system with its own Funtouch OS 9.2 UI. Inside, we can also find a 4500mAh battery. The VIVO S1 Prime supports dual-SIM connectivity. But it’s only 4G.
