Vivo S6 5G Smartphone

Vivo S6 has arrived folks and what we know so far is that it’s powered by the revered Exynos 980 Octa-Core chip from Samsung, salute! salute! because that’s one heck of a chipset and to you selfie-lovers out there. Well, be prepared because now you’ll be able to take even more clearer pictures. Thanks to the Vivo S6 quad-camera module that comes packed with a 32-Megs selfie camera and please say cheese! The device was officially unveiled in China by Vivo Comm. And will be available for purchase from April 3, 2020.

Beyond Selfie

Beyond selfies, this device will truly appeal to anyone that’s a fan of the water drop style-notch display. It also comes with a longer battery life. In the Vivo S6 you’ll have 4500mAH battery and that’s enough juice for work and play. The only drawback is that fast charging will be limited 18W. Vivo S6 supports 5G network, has Game Turbo – hellooo…gamers in the house! ART++ Turbo, Net Turbo. AI Turbo, Cooling Turbo (Vivo claims that this reduces heat by 10 percent compared to its predecessor the Vivo S5). CPU Turbo and hopefully that’s enough turbos to appease any fan.

Price and Availability

The 8GB expandable to 128GB version will cost 2,698 Yuan or dollar equivalent. And the 8GB expandable to 256GB version will cost up to 2,998 Yuan. Vivo S6 will initially be available for purchase from the manufacturer’s website, JD.com and from the rest of the leading eCommerce retailers in China. Color options include Black, Blue, White/Blue.

Camera Specifications

On the optics front, you’ve got a 48 Meg main camera wth f/1.79 aperture, 2 Meg macro cam featuring f/2.4 aperture, 8 Meg ultra wide shooter with f/2.2 aperture, 2 Meg depth sensor lens. There’s a nano dual-SIM version of the Vivo S6 that runs an Android folk known as FunTouch 10 (developed in house by Vivo probably under license from Google). The phone’s display is an AMOLED full HD, 480 PPC pixel density, 6.44 inch, 20 by 9 aspect ratio, 90 percent screen to body ratio with 8GB expandable RAM and a 2.26 GHz Exynos 980 processor.
