Later in the day, Vivo took to Weibo to formally announce the new advancement. The new custom skin will be based on Android and will be completely different than the present Functouch OS.

The company didn’t put-on details about the new custom skin including information on the availability and features. It could come with the Vivo X60, but nothing is confirmed as of now.

However, the Vivo 2020 Developer Conference is an annual meeting where developers and tech enthusiasts participate to talk about different topics. It provides an overview of the developers about new innovations in the field of apps, games, technology, and others.

We expect some more information about the upcoming custom skin before its official launch. Moreover, the new OS must address all the pitfalls of Funtouch OS. The new skin could be a game-changer if Vivo crafts it much better without much bloatware.
