Vivo has launched the Vivo V20 and the V20 SE in India. Today, the company has officially launched its third V20 series smartphone in India i.e. the Vivo V20 Pro 5G. This is the second 5G-ready smartphone from the company after the Vivo X50 Pro in the subcontinent. Back in August the same device was launched in China labelled as Vivo S7 5G.
Vivo V20 Pro 5G: Specifications
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. It is coupled with 8GB of LPPDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device comes with FunTouch OS 10 out of the box based on Android 11 OS. In addition, the device draws its power from a 4,000mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging.
Moving towards the front, the device has a 6.44″ FHD+ AMOLED display. It supports 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution along with 20:9 aspect ratio. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
For optics, the device house a triple camera setup at the rear which includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP Ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP mono sensor. Whereas at the front, it houses a dual-camera setup which comprises of a 44MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter.
Pricing and availability
Additionally, the device is available in Midnight Jazz and Sunset Melody colour variants. As for pricing, it is available at Rs 29,990 (~$407) for its lone 8GB+128GB variant. The smartphone will be sold online exclusively via Amazon, Vivo.com/in, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, Tata Cliq and Bajaj Finserv’s EMI store. Customers buying online can avail Rs 2000 instant discount using ICICI Credit/Debit cards. Whereas, customers looking to buy offline can avail up to 10% cashback through ICICI Bank cards, Bank of Baroda credit card, and Zest Money.
It looks like Vivo V20 Pro 5G is likely to compete with the OnePlus Nord because of similar pricing and specification. Also, it’s worth noting that both OnePlus and Vivo are part of BBK Electronics.
