The initial impressions and quick review

The new color matching, what we got this time is the new color matching of “Huaxia Red”, which adopts a bright metal middle frame, and the back is made of red plain leather material. The collision between leather and shiny metal is really classy.

This time, the processor has been upgraded to Snapdragon 8+, which has stronger performance and lower power consumption than the previous generation, and also launched dual 5G dual-card dual-pass in the folding screen, ensuring the smoothness of users in dual-card concurrent scenarios experience.

Compared with the previous generation, the battery life and charging have gone further. It has been upgraded to a 4730mAh large battery and 80W wired fast charging. It is equipped with a standard PD dual Type-C port gallium nitride charger. Officials say it can be fully charged in about 35 minutes. This performance will still be one of the best in the current folding screen.

In addition to the hardware upgrade, the software has also made more optimizations this time. Compared with the release of the first generation, more applications have completed the adaptation work, and have been specially compatible and optimized for large screens. The large screen experience is really much better.

In other respects, the internal and external Samsung E5 screens, internal and external 3D ultrasonic screen fingerprints, rear four-shot, Zeiss image blessing, all are familiar. Moreover, after plugging in a larger battery, the size of the fuselage can still remain the same, which is really not easy.

In general, due to the weight and volume constraints of the folding screen, you still have to think about whether you can accept the sacrifice of portability before purchasing. If you can accept it, then vivo X Flod Plus is indeed a good choice.
