Wi-Fi Technology: We all know that Wi-Fi network reaches a great distance. If you are sitting in one room and want to connect Wi-Fi connection from other room, you can do that easily. Have you ever imagined, a person can use Wi-Fi to scan a holographic image of behind the wall. Yes, you heard it correct. A researcher has claimed that a person can see anything behind the wall, in fact, they can get a holographic image of a person or object from a locked room.
So, let’s study the whole concept of this idea. All the microwave radiations sent from the routers don’t reach to our electronic devices like mobile, tablets and PC. Rather, they jump off from distinct objects. Studying this principle of Wi-Fi, German specialists have researched to obtain 3D images or holograms of the elements or person within the room, from outside.
The latest scanning Wi-Fi technology is founded by ‘Philip Holl and Friedemann Reinhard’, members of the Technical University of Munich. According to Holl, last two years have noticed an outburst of ways for Wi-Fi imaging. With the help of dual antennas, they designate a Wi-Fi area encircling a particular room. Both the antennas are adopted to obtain the power and angle of the area, both from the origin point and areas it jumps off.
Wi-Fi scanning is the method through which they got a 3D or holographic picture view of inside a room. The method will be a life-saving technology through Wi-Fi. This method can work in rescue operations, after a tragedy like an earthquake or landslide.
With this technology, many privacy issues arise. Some people might be worried of this Wi-Fi technology. The researchers are already conscious of the new menace. In this issue, Reinhard said in a report, in future, it is not likely to succeed in the method of watching in foreign bedrooms without their permission. For performing the illegal crime, a person has to visit the victim’s house with those huge antennas which anyone cannot ignore.
