Recently, Xiaomi Technology Co., Ltd. filed an application for a new graphic trademark. The new trademark looks like a small dinosaur which is supposed to be the Redmi KINO. It might be the mascot for the upcoming Redmi K50 series if you don’t know what it means. Xiaomi had earlier unveiled the mascot of the Redmi K20 series, which was dubbed as Big Devil dinosaur.
So, they might bring back the dinosaur mascots with the Redmi K50 series. According to the enterprise search App, the international classification of the trademark involves leather and medical equipment. The same is expected to be used for smartphones and accessories like mobile cases and other related accessories.
What are Mascots?
Earlier during the launch of the Redmi K30, which was held on December 10, 2019, there was a special member unveiled at the launch. It was none other than the big devil KINO who came to the Redmi brand family. According to the official statement, the KINO represents the love in everyone’s heart, looks out of the crowd, and warms his heart; to love everything about K.O, everything is OK for friends; love is its superpower. Further, the brand also launched the Big Demon King KINO vinyl doll set, which cost 69 yuan per set. The collection includes KINO, HOHO, and Big Devil stickers. Apart from this, the KINO official themes and official dynamic emoticons were also provided with the Redmi mobile phones.
That said, the Redmi K20 series came with dinosaurs and the K30 series with the dragon mascot. However, the Redmi K40 series didn’t come with any mascots. But now, Xiaomi is all set to bring back the mascots. There are reports that the new mascots would be the official logo of the upcoming K50 series. Xiaomi is keeping silence on the forthcoming Redmi K50 series. However, reports suggest that there will be two variants i.e., where one of them will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. And the other to sport the upcoming Snapdragon 898 SoC. Stay tuned with us for the updates regarding the upcoming K50 series.
