A month back, when announcing the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite and MIUI 12, the Chinese tech giant also unleashed two new audio accessories, the Xiaomi Line Free collar headset as well as the Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Headset Lite. Today, the manufacturer officially announced the former product is already on sale at a price tag of 199 yuan. Agree $28 is not that much when taking into account its selling points such as dual-motion coil unit and Bluetooth 5.0 support.

The Xiaomi Line Free collar headset uses the new Qualcomm aptX Adaptive dynamic low-latency technology, with a minimum delay of 80ms. It should be noted that Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive dynamic low-latency technology is currently only supported by the Xiaomi Mi 10. The Xiaomi Line Free collar headset is equipped with the Qualcomm QCC5125 chip. Of course, it supports the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology. The company proves that it can be used for up to about 9 hours. Also, it uses the Type-C interface for charging. It can be used for about 2 hours after 10 minutes of charging.

In terms of acoustics and the overall audio performance, users do not have to worry about a thing. We mean, like other Xiaomi products, this one provides the best performance when comparing with other products at the same price range. The Xiaomi Line Free collar headset has a 9.2mm dual-motion coil acoustic unit. It supports aptx audio encoding as well as DSP + cVc call noise reduction function. The manufacturer said that the low frequency is powerful. Plus, the mid frequency is delicate and full. And the high frequency is clear and translucent.
