But now, according to official sources from Xiaomi, the Xiaomi MIX Alpha has no hope of mass production and will no longer be listed.
Today, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun talked on Weibo, saying that this is a pre-research project and the pre-research goal has been successfully completed. Later, it turned out that the mass production is too difficult. So they finally decided not to send it to mass production. Also, they are now concentrated on doing the next generation MIX. As for when the new generation MIX will be released, Lei Jun bluntly said that it will take some time.

The entire screen adopts the surrounding shape layered lamination and screw-in assembly technology. The storage space is 512GB. In terms of battery, it sports a 4050mAh nano silicon negative battery, which supports 40W wired flash charging. It also has a 1.0cc large sound cavity.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha 5G concept phone sports a Samsung 108MP ultra-high-definition main camera. The camera has a photosensitive size of 1/1.33 inches, an aperture of F/1.69, and a pixel area of 1.6μm. It can directly output a 12032×9024 pixel picture. The image size can reach 40MB, while supporting four-axis optical image stabilization.
