In a few days on April 27, the Chinese technology giant Xiaomi is about to unveil the next edition of its custom skin interface for Android. The Xiaomi MIUI 12 skin will arrive with lots of enhancements over the previous MIUI 11 edition. Along with it, Xiaomi will also introduce the Mi 10 Youth Edition in China.
When it comes to features of the new Android skin, it will support the Vientiane Breath Screen + function. Further, the notable prospect of the screen is the MAML changeable framework. It stands for MIUI Application Markup Language and used for a range of lock screens. It contains lots of MIUI themes like a desktop clock, photo frame widget, variety lock screen, dynamic icon, weather widget and more.
The Xiaomi MIUI 12 will utilize the Dark Mode 2.0. It enables the users to dim the wallpaper based on the gradual transition of light. It will follow the day-night circle, but we are still unaware of the fact whether it will configure all images or selected system images.
Moreover, the new custom skin will also bring the font-weight adjustment. It can adjust the boldness of text automatically to minimize the blur and glare. This feature will replace the dynamic font system we found in the previous MIUI 11. The company also has shared how it alters the font-weight.
To improve the reading experience, Xiaomi MIUI 12 will also provide the facility to adjust the font contrast. The manufacturer reveals that the Dark Mode 2.0 will adapt on ambient light dynamically. With it, Xiaomi tries to manage the contrast and brightness difference between the white and black backgrounds. The latest edition is likely to support as many as 40 different Xiaomi models.
