After official teasers and rumors, Xiaomi finally announced the MIUI 12 just before the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition in China. There are many new advancements and improvements that are part and parcel of the MIUI 12. The latest iteration of MIUI brings a visual retreat with UI overhaul, reimagined animations, improved dark mode, new live wallpapers based on date, time and location, and improved privacy management.

The Android 10 based MIUI 12 also features a new health app, improved privacy controls, animations, and screen savers. The company worked on some text adjustments to reduce eye strain on Dark Mode 2.0.
Xiaomi has introduced Mi 10 Youth which houses a Snapdragon 765G chipset, 6.57-inch AMOLED display, 6/8GB RAM, 4160 mAh battery, 48-MP Quad camera, 16-MP front camera and MIUI 11 based Android 10. The MIUI 12 upgrade will be available in the coming days. The smartphone is available in five different colors of Blue, White, Black, Green, and Orange.
