Xiaomi is working on different foldable designs, and we have already covered plenty of smartphone patents. Even yesterday, the company registered a smartphone with built-in wireless earphones. Similarly, Xiaomi has registered a new patent with a rotatable hinge on the top comprising quad-camera sensors. The overall flip design facilitates the foldable display from the centre of the display.

As in the images above, we can see a three speaker grill just below the rotatable hinge of the smartphone. Moreover, a power button and volume rockers are present on the right side of the smartphone.
Xiaomi’s new smartphone design houses a single rear camera and quad- front sensors. The most interesting part i.e hinge can rotate up to 180 degrees only. The device can be folded into half its size thanks to its flip design. Interestingly, the SIM slot is not visible on either side of the smartphone.
The new design looks quite useful and would be an awesome device if carved into a fully working device.
