The foldable smartphone market is soon going to get two new foldable smartphones in the coming few months. Samsung is coming up with two new foldable including Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Fold 2. On the other hand, Motorola Razr 2 has just appeared on the 3C certification revealing some of its specifications. The new design patents describe the GUI for the sidebar of a MI Mix Alpha like concept device. The new patent easily allows the user to easily manage several utilities like time, incoming calls, music controls, and weather. There’s also a design for controlling volume. A simple slider for the volume control allows the users to easily control the volume.
The smartphone placeholder used in the patent resembles the Mi Mix Alpha deign.
A few days ago, Huawei smartphone design patent with a waterfall display resembles the working of this latest patent.
We expect the patent functionality arrive with the Mi Mix 4 which is rumoured to launch it in the second half of this year. Already, there are plenty of rumours about the Mi Mix 4 related to its specifications and alleged designs. It is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 144MP primary camera and a 100W fast fast charging.
