What can we expect from Redmi 9i?
The Redmi 9i is rumored to follow Redmi 9A’s footprint, but with higher storage variants. Earlier today, the device was leaked by notable leakster Ishan Agarwal much ahead of its launch event. He mentioned that the device will be available in two storage variants i.e. 4GB RAM + 64GB, and 4GB RAM + 128GB. He also went ahead to reveal the pricing for the 4GB RAM + 64GB i.e. ₹7999. Although pricing for the higher variant might be disclosed during the launch event, we assume that it should be well under ₹10,000 judging by the Redmi 9 pricing.

As per its official announcement, the device will be gaming-centric and will run on MIUI 12. Apart from that, a bigger display (presumably a 6.5-inch display) is advertised. Along with a 4GB RAM variant that is already confirmed accompanied by a 64GB storage variant. Talking about optics, a single front-facing camera will be embedded inside the notch. Expect the battery to be similar to Redmi 9A. We could also notice a 3.5mm headphone jack.
However, the rest of the information, including its specifications, and pricing for the higher variant will be revealed at the launch event scheduled on September 15 at 12:00 PM.
