We have been waiting for this news for ages. Today, ZTE Mobile announced that the world’s first under-screen camera smartphone dubbed the ZTE A20 5G will be officially released on September 1.
If you remember, Xiaomi and a couple of other major manufacturers demonstrated how the under-screen camera will work on smartphones. But when its debut was delayed, they have had to bring some explanations about why it happened. As a result, Xiaomi said that this technology is not mature. The news that ZTE will be the first to bring this technology to the final product was on the net for a week or two. And today, the company issued an official statement in contrary to haters.
Judging from the poster, the ZTE A20 5G has no openings on the front. Thus, it’s a true full-screen smartphone with no additional structures such as lifting front cameras. At the same time, the screen frame is narrower.
According to the information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology previously announced, the ZTE A20 5G will be equipped with a CPU clocked at 2.4GHz. It will be also supplemented by a 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and a 64GB/128GB/256GB storage. The screen resolution is 2460× 1080 and the 6.92-inch screen uses an OLED material.
The camera on the back has a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors combination. At the same time, the front camera has a 32MP resolution. The battery capacity is 4120mAh. There are two colors of cold flame blue and dazzling white. Also, the body size is 172.1×77.9×7.9mm and it weighs 198 grams.
