Today, the ZTE AXON 20 5G, the world’s first commercial under-screen camera phone, was officially released. The starting price is 2,198 ($211). Many people are curious. After abandoning bangs and holes, how does the under-screen camera actually perform?
According to Sina Technology, the under-screen camera technology of ZTE Axon 20 5G is not perfect.
Under the light theme, the rectangular outline of the camera under the screen is faintly visible. When you use the front camera to take a selfie with backlight, you will see a significant decrease in image quality.
This makes the under-screen technology of the ZTE Axon 20 5G look more like a concept product, rather than a final product that can be mass-produced. However, ZTE believes that after some software algorithm optimization and compensation, the under-screen camera can achieve an effect acceptable to most people.
Previously, Xiaomi claimed that it has developed the ‘third-generation’ under-screen camera technology, which could only be mass-produced next year.
