Vivo Y12s Color variants

Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Y12s. It is one of the newest mid-range smartphones from the Y series. The smartphone is now available in a number of Asian countries, such as Hong Kong and Vietnam. Although for a new phone, it has a little thicker on the chin. Apart from that, it features a decent chipset, a dependable battery along with a dual-camera setup.

At its core, the Vivo Y12s is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC running on Android 10 based on FunTouch OS 11. It is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other than that there is a microSD card slot on board for additional storage.

Moving to the front, the device is housed with a 6.51″ HD+ IPS LCD display. It delivers a 720 x 1600 resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

For optics, its features a dual-camera setup at the back which includes a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Both cameras are housed in a rectangular module and are also equipped with an LED flash module. Whereas at the front, it houses an 8MP shooter for selfies.

The Vivo Y12s draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging via a conventional micro USB port. Additionally, it features dual SIM, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a fingerprint scanner module. The handset measures 164.41 x 76.32 x 7.41mm and it weighs 191 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Vivo Vivo Y12s is available in two colour variants – Phantom Black and Glacier Blue. The device is available for 1,098 Hong Kong Dollars (Prroximately $142). The company didn’t provide any update regarding its global debut. We will update once we get to know more about it.
