The Korean company ‘LG Electronics’ has launched its first 5G Smartphone on 21 May 2019 powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 application processor and 5G Modem chip X50. LG V50 ThinQ is the company’s first revolution to a 5G powered smartphone empowering a new era of mobile experiences with significantly faster speeds.

The Smartphone is becoming the most popular because of its powerful features as a dual-screen phone. The dual-screen improves multitasking and gaming by giving us a second screen to work with and will work in either landscape or portrait. So LG V50 ThinQ is a foldable phone of sorts.

The most amazing LG OLED TV technology used in this phone allows us to enjoy every movie, clip or moment with striking clarity, beautiful contrast, and vibrant color, also high-quality content downloads, uploads and live streaming at an unreal speed.

A 5G Smartphone has a competitive advantage of mobile gaming and as V5 is powered by Snapdragon Elite-Gaming, so we can experience multiplayer games with rich, ultra-realistic graphics and near-instantaneous response for human-like reflexes now on mobile.

Here we have a 5-camera phone with three rear cameras and two front cameras to capture truly original selfies and videos that are rich in detail. The rear camera consists of a 12MP standard with an f/1.5 wide aperture, a 12MP sensor with a telephoto lens (f/2.4) and a 16MP sensor with a super wide-angle lens and f/1.9 aperture while the front camera consists of an 8MP standard + 5MP wide-angle camera.

The field of view is 107 degrees. The 3D time-of-flight sensor also called the Z camera by LG is capable of capturing a 3D image of an object much faster.  It can take a 3D image of a distant object with complete accuracy and improves the experience of augmented reality(AR). ToF camera sensor is used to take better blur photo backgrounds in portrait mode.

It has also provided with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which consists of an LG’s Boombox Speaker, DTS:X 3D surround and 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad Dac, by which we can experience superior sound while watching movies, music, games and also it will seem to come from all directions. It packs a massive, energy-efficient 4000mAh battery that can handle all power-hungry 5G applications and the cooling system that helps to dissipate heat.
