Realme round shape camera patent details

According to a recent document, Realme indeed submitted a patent on May 2020 which got approved on November 24. The document contains an interesting revelation about Realme’s upcoming smartphone. The company is planning to launch a smartphone that houses a circular-shaped camera module. Much like the upcoming Redmi Note 9 5G smartphone which is scheduled for November 26. This indeed might be the first Realme device with a circular camera module.

Coming back to the device, it indeed looks fresh from all the Realme devices available presently. Towards the front, it has a full view display on the front with a punch hole at the top left corner. It will probably be an OLED display and have an in-display fingerprint sensor because of the absence of a side-mounted or back.

Moving towards the back, the device houses the circular camera module with at least 4 cameras. On the right-hand side, we could notice the power button. Whereas the volume rockers are present on the left-hand side.

Other than that, the Type-C port, a single speaker, and the Dual SIM port can be located at the bottom of the smartphone.  Whereas, a nice canceling microphone can be located at the top of the device.

Lastly, the device hasn’t surfaced anywhere as of yet. This makes us believe that this might be among their upcoming Realme 8 Series smartphones. We can assume that the series might launch by the end of Q1 2021 according to Realme’s track record.
