On September 29, Xiaomi officially launched the Mi 11 Lite NE 5G smartphone in India. The new product is very similar to the Mi 11 Youth Edition, which is available in China. However, the most significant difference between these devices is that the chipset has been changed from Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G to 778G. That is, Xiaomi has downgraded the chipset for global users. The new smartphone will come in two different variants. And the introductory pricing in India starts at Rs 23,500, which converts to 2048 Yuan.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE 5G Specifications!
The new Mi 11 Lite NE 5G features 6.55 inches AMOLED Full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It also gets a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and supports 10bit colour depth, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and other certifications. The addition of Dolby Vision makes it the best display in the segment. It also gets a typical brightness of 500 nits and a maximum brightness of 800nits. In addition to this, the display receives protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
When it comes to dimensions, it is one of the thinnest phones with a thickness of 6.81mm and weighs around 158 grams. Xiaomi has added support for IP53 levels of dust and water resistance. It has a hybrid SIM card slot where you can insert micro-SD cards. All this is backed by a 4250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
When it comes to optics, the device features a triple-rear camera setup. It has a primary 64MP sensor with a sensor size of 1/1.97 inches. The sensor is followed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP telephoto macro lens. On the front, it gets a 20MP sensor that sits inside the punch-hole.
It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, which is manufactured on the 6nm process. The chipset supports 5G and gets support for 12 5G bands. Xiaomi has paired the device with LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage. Apart from this, it also brings a built-in heat pipe for heat dissipation. In addition, the phone also comes with dual speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor and NFC. It will be available in colour options, namely Tuscany Coral, Vinyl Black, Jazz Blue, Diamond Dazzle.
Pricing of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE 5G!
The official pricing is as follows;
- Rs 26,999 (2350 Yuan / USD 364) for the 6GB + 128 GB variant.
- Rs 28,999 (2525 Yuan / USD 391) for the 6GB + 128 GB variant.
However, the phone gets a special discount on the festive season event. Xiaomi offers a Rs 1500 discount starting from October 2 to October 7. And then it offers a bank discount of ₹2,000. That said, it will be available for Rs 23,499, which converts to 2048 Yuan / USD 317 for the base variant. And Rs 25,499 (USD 354 / 2220 Yuan) for the top variant. The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G will be available in Mi.com, Amazon.in, and in Xiaomi offline stores. The first sale of the device will begin at midnight on October 2.
